About this listen
A Terrifying Young Adult Horror Trilogy
It's not just the Dead who want to return to the Land of the Living, but the creatures of Hell itself. And only Lazarus Stone, Keeper of the Dead, can stop them.
Trouble is, he's on an insane rescue mission to save his best mate and his dad, with only the help of an undead priest and an angel with an alcohol problem.
This isn't just about saving the world, this is personal ...
Perfect for fans of Derek Landy, Charlie Higson, Will Hill, Ilsa J. Pick, Michael Grant, Shane Boulware, Cas E. Crowe, and Ian Rob Wright.

‘A relentless and gruesome thrill ride. Readers will lap up its blend of grisly post-Hellraiser body horror, pacey narrative and wicked streak of black humour.’ (SFX Magazine)
‘A weekend spent in the company of The Dead is a weekend spent well.’ (GoreZone Magazine)

I wished there was more…
Overall, the series was fun. I saw a review saying it was kinda a Darren Shan book. I would say the first book was but afterwards the series takes its own identity. Which is awesome, the action in this series is awesome and the visceral scenes were awesome. But I do feel that series was a bit too fast for its own good. In the story it makes sense why it’s move at such a fast paced but still. If anything else I wished there be more afterwards so we could explore the job of the Keeper and the aftermath of this conflict. Maybe even another villain in the next book. But maybe it’s a good thing maybe there wasn’t need to be more and this was all we needed for the story to be complete. But, for me if there is more in the future, I would love to read it.
