Publisher's summary
Lazarus Stone has been killed, resurrected, and attacked by demons. He's all that stands between our world and the Dead.
But things are getting complicated: he's alone in the land of the Dead, his best mate Craig is missing, and he's no idea who - or what - tricked his dad into trying to bring back his long-dead mum. Oh, and he's wearing a corpse's clothes.
Life, he might think, couldn't get much worse.
But it will...
Perfect for fans of Derek Landy, Charlie Higson, Will Hill, Ilsa J. Pick, Michael Grant, Shane Boulware, Cas E. Crowe, and Ian Rob Wright.
Critic reviews
‘A relentless and gruesome thrill ride. Readers will lap up its blend of grisly post-Hellraiser body horror, pacey narrative and wicked streak of black humour.’ (SFX Magazine)
‘A weekend spent in the company of The Dead is a weekend spent well.’ (GoreZone Magazine)

Good opening…
So, I love the world of the dead. Something about inverse worlds are always cool to me. But I like how crazy powerful Lazarus has become especially with his weapon. The first half is absolutely awesome!
However, the second act kinda drags. Which isn’t bad, but after the epic climax and fights we got, it kinda sucked that we were stuck with a car ride. But as soon as they hit their destination, we do have another amazing climax and revelation!
I will admit that I wish there were more than three books because I can see this being expanded on. But since it’s so fast paced, I guess we could end in three. But I am looking forward to the next book!
