This tragic and short tale of the friends of Matt Stillman who conspired to and then carried through with their plans to kill the teenager in November 2008 in a small town in North Carolina is a chilling one, like a horror movie that is unlike real life . . . but sadly, this really happened. Four friends, Allegra Rose Dahlquist, Ryan Hare, Drew Shaw and Aadil Shahid Khan concocted the scheme. When Matt's body was first found, it was ruled a suicide, and only by a fluke was it discovered that the teens had planned the murder. This is an excellent telling of the gory tale, that is still a painful memory the family of Matt Stillman.

Interesting account of a woman found slain, and raped in her bathtub found face down. More than 60 detectives were involved in trying to solve the case.

Lasting approximately 48 minutes, this is a short story Audio Version.
Narrator was very monotone - as if reading a newspaper account.

Not one of my favorites from Harold Schechter, but he definitely provides interesting facts of true-crime accounts

Good for a short to the point detailed listen. Covered all the point, no unnecessary commentary, nothing left hanging. Good clear narration.
