Publisher's summary

Return to the world of the Emergence.

An accident at the SEED has enhanced Dez and Riah’s magical abilities to levels that they are not able to control. Unsure of what to do, Chris and Harlow set out to find Rose and Kami, who should have been back from their trip days ago.

Meanwhile, Riah meets a mysterious, magical new friend that says she can help her find both of her parents.

Join Dez and Riah as they discover new places, meet new friends (and enemies), and learn that one child’s dream can be a nightmare to the rest of the world.

great sequel

great sequel picks up about 14 years after the first gives great insight into some new characters but doesn't take away from the older existing characters
