Angie continued to be betrayed by so many and some close to her was gutwrenching. How could she be so gullible and so wise at the same time??? The final fight was edge of my seat and exhilarating!!! I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

This second audiobook of a duet ended as it should. Ms. Demelo is a new to me author. I was blown away by her brillant story, characters and writing style. The flow was easy and appealing. She presented character development. I am drawn to strong female heroines. Angelique represented strength, intelligence and compassion. She was a vampire diplomat showing and changing the laws for the benefit of all.
Ms. Conlin voiced these characters very well. She had emotion in her voice. It was enjoyable listening to her bring this story to life.
