very knowledgeable and inspiring

Having gone through this complete set of Eastern philosophical texts, I feel enlightened and humbled by the depth of wisdom contained within. The diverse ways in which these ancient thinkers have given me a much broader understanding of life, spirituality, and human nature things I am really appreciative of. How each text complements the others to create a rich tapestry of Eastern thought, both timeless and relevant to modern life. Overall, this collection has left me with a sense of inner calm and a renewal of curiosity about the world while inspiring me to apply these age old teachings to my day to day life and personal growth journey.

Open your mind

I was familiar with the Art of War, but I have never spend any real time with any of these other authors before.
There is a lot of enlightenment to be had here. The Krishna dialogue is very interesting.
The wisdom of Buddha and Confucius. Timeless treasures are found in their teachings. I wish I could memorize some of the best quotes.
And a couple of other authors and subjects that all provide a complete mind-opening experience.

mini journey into a different philosophy

This is a solid choice for anyone interested in diving into the wisdom of Eastern thought. At over 12 hours long, the audiobook offers a rich variety of teachings—from strategy and leadership to mindfulness and spiritual insight. I particularly enjoyed how each section feels like a mini journey into a different philosophy, with classics like The Art of War and Tao Te Ching standing out for their depth and timelessness.

The narrator, Jeffrey Ito, does a great job bringing the material to life with a calm and clear voice, making even the complex ideas more accessible. That said, some parts can get a little dense, especially if you’re not already familiar with the philosophies, so it might require a bit of extra focus to absorb everything. But if you're willing to take the time, there's a lot of value to be found here, offering a perfect mix of ancient wisdom and practical life advice.
