There was so much wrong with the narration, I don't even know where to start! Honey Jines' pronunciation of certain words was wrong to the point of aggravation. Siobhan is pronounced SHUH-VONNE or SHUH-BON NOT CYOBAN! Virile is VEER-ILL NOT VIRAL! Her Spanish was the worst as well. I'm pretty sure I have a permanent nervous twitch now from listening to her poor acting skills, poor reading skills and HORRIBLE pronunciations. Try researching and studying before presenting your final product, Ms. Jones! I am sure EJD has no idea this version exists. If he did, he should rip it from existence! I honestly couldn't finish listening to the book due to the poor presentation. I would've done a better job and I don't even perform for a living. Two thumbs down.

I love that this is a prequel to his book Pleasure, but goodness! This narrator is horrible! It lacks performance uniqueness expected by audiobook listeners. Very difficult to differentiate between the characters. Don’t buy this version of narration. You’re better off reading the book instead. I stopped 20 minutes in.

I loved the backstory of Nia Simone, and as always EJD (rip) weaved a great tale. The narrator was absolutely horrible, I will remember to never purchase another audiobook narrated by her again.

this is just like a collection of thoughts from nia. there's no order no formation just gonzo writing which I usually like but not this. there was no substance to this story. she was just stating and going over events i guess weird.
