Publisher's summary

In one devastating act Travis ends the war, unknowingly beginning a new war, a war for survival. Caught up in the schemes of the Dark Council, Jack and his companions are marooned in the frozen wasteland that the northern territories have become. Shortly after arriving in the north Eric and Decious are swept into a series of skirmishes; as in one last desperate attempt to regain control over the Lich King's City, Cahir launches an invasion. Jack and Genevieve are forced to flee the Lich King's fortress with Ronan as Prometheus finally tracks down his long lost brother.

The Treacherous God enacts a plan decades in the making, dooming Everworld and the majority of its people. Infighting consumes the church which fractures. New factions emerge and the Angels are forced to choose sides as Prometheus turns against the Celestial Council.

As the war between men and elves continues, Threndiel unleashes an ancient evil upon Valerence. The elves long ago prophesied a day when Everworld would be lost, now as that day draws closer Threndiel revisits the ancient prophecy taught to him as a child. He will lead the elves to a new land, a land where they will meet the man who will help them claim the earth, or burn it.

This is the fourth book in The Elementalist series, this series contains game like imagery and is a part of the LitRPG genre.

Terrible

Book 3 was actually interesting and written well making me have hope the author was improving . This was absolutely terrible with zero flow. I rarely have trouble getting through a book but this.. This was bad.
