The author has carefully gleaned through these ancient sources and gathered together in one volume many “pearls of great price” relating to the New Testament. For example, you will learn how a Jewish girl like Mary would have been raised, and what life was like for women in Jewish society. You will learn how Jesus would have been raised, what the schools and synagogues were like at that time, and what Jesus would have been taught in school.
