About this listen

If you want a view into the world that lies behind the Ted Bundy murders, this last work in a series of six books on Bundy is definitely for you. For within this audiobook, you will find many questions still surrounding this fascinating and intricate case, as well as the answers that are only now being provided here. There’s so much more to learn, and new information is still surfacing about Bundy, his victims, and his potential victims. As such, there is new testimony included from those who had a brush with the killer, and others who played their own roles in this multistate case.

You will also hear from Bundy case detectives Jerry Thompson of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Don Patchen of Tallahassee, Florida, as they tell of their experiences with Bundy. So does Ron Holmes, the Louisville criminologist who worked with Ted Bundy toward the end of his life. Holmes not only gives accurate details about Ted Bundy but other serial killers as well. On top of this, it contains some very important official reports that have rarely been seen outside of the archives, and there will be commentary to guide listeners through it. This book also makes available Bundy’s final confession to Utah detective Dennis Couch, made only hours before the killer’s death, where Bundy reveals some startling facts and sparks some additional questions as well. All in all, The Enigma of Ted Bundy is an enlightening journey into this most infamous case.

Another Must Own Bundy Book

As always Kevin brings more facts and details about Bundy and his victims. So glad I bought this book. To be honest I wasn't sure if there was anything interesting left to say, but I was wrong. Great book any true crime fan would love and a must own Bundy book to complete your collection.

He stated she stated

I had to stop listening 30 min in.
The ridiculous repeating of the terms “he stated” “she stated “ made it unlistenable.

No Surprises Here

This book was exactly what I expected given Kevin's prior works on Bundy. Nothing short of impeccable. He never gives way to sensationalism when telling the facts as they happened. Yet he tells the truth in a way that rivals the best works of fiction. Outstanding style,

This was interesting

I found this to be very interesting. The interview’s between the author & the detectives was the most compelling.

Eh

I enjoy anything crime, the narrator does a great job of keeping you interested. However, the author has made so many references to their "other books" that I completely stopped listening. It is frustrating to listen to a half story.

A great addition to Sullivan’s others!

I had kind of thought that possibly this would be the same details about the murders but I was pleasantly surprised to hear all new content. If you grew up in the area of WA that I did, you know all about the Bundt minders. A must read for any true fan of Kevin Sullivan’s books about this horrible time in our history. I especially enjoyed the end of life confession and hearing how out of it Bundy was and how he cried and was suffering, he deserved worse!

Good story, too much self promotion

I struggled through the constant self promotion, which repeatedly interrupts an interesting story. And it was greuling listenting to the 30 or so minutes of "TB/DC" back and forth convo toward the end.
The reader made this tollerable. I admire him and his hard work.

Great

Very informative, detailed, and interesting. I’m now going to read all his other books. I thought I had known all there was to know about the Bundy case, but this book proved me wrong.
