Loved the school setting
I don’t normally read YA but loved this one. I loved that it was about solving a mystery in a school setting. So interesting!

Slow
I was disappointed with the delivery of this story. I felt the narrator was dry, slow and unemotional in the performance. The story itself was OK, but I was bored.

Mystery and Suspense
The Fort of Mal is a thrilling and suspenseful thrill ride of a mystery in the YA genre. I really enjoyed the little twist that the author threw in because it took me off my game at trying to figure out who the guilty party was. If you love the YA mystery genre, I highly recommend this book. I was hooked from the beginning and could not stop listening. Aria Byars did a phenomenal job narrating this book. I received this book for free upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased review here of my own free will.
