About this listen

Edward can see ghosts, but that's not what haunts him.

Edward Meyer and his two children returned to his hometown of Miller's Crossing after the tragic loss of his wife. This move was ironic, since it was the tragic and mysterious death of his parents that forced him away 30 years ago. He wanted a quiet and peaceful setting for them to start over in, but what he found was anything but. Dark truths, a centuries old family secret, and a war as old as time itself await him. With the help of a trusted family friend and a religious relic, Edward joined the eternal battle of good versus evil and the devils of his past. Each demonic and spectral encounter lead to more details about is past. Details that force him to question if he placed his trust in the wrong side.

If you enjoy paranormal thrillers doused in the historical legend, then this book is for you.

Unknown power, do you have it?

This book will grab you and take you to a world that you may or may not be aware of. If you had this power, would you help, or hide? The choice is up to us alone! Give me more! Loved this book! Need to make it a series! Great writing!

Evils Sustainability

The narrator was very good, story was ok. It was really hard to believe some of the things that were happening, and why would anyone want to live in a town like this , but all in all it worked for the story.

Don't waste your time

It was all I could do to finish this book. It read more like a middle school short story. The characters had no depth. There wasn't any background to the story, there was no suspense and the story felt rushed. A waste of a few precious hours.

Try not to let the issues stop you

The story has such a good base. However, the constant switch between past and present tense is distracting. And the absolute stiff dialogue is definitely a negative. So STIFF! I know it wasn't the narrator's fault, however it sounded like the characters were reading a script. Too many times when a contraction should have been used it wasn't. But I will probably finish with the series because now I need to know what happens.
