About this listen
Please note: This book discusses topics that some listeners may find distressing. It contains language that some may find coarse or offensive.
Antonio and Giorgio, two old friends, recall their adolescent years when their friendship was interrupted for no apparent reason.
They retrace the choices and life paths that led them away from each other. They face old grudges, jealousies, and misunderstandings.
On this day of revelations and new awareness, the two friends discover that they have changed and no longer know each other as they once did. Yet, the bond that united them emerges intact, ready to be renewed, if only they know how to put the past aside and open their hearts to forgiveness.

Amazing
I loved everything about The Ghosts of the Past and it was such an amazing read. I loved all the characters and the storyline. The narrator seriously did such a wonderful job with narrating the story and it brought it all to life. I highly recommend listening to this story and I am excited to read more books from the author.

Probably better as an actual book
I feel bad giving this such a low rating because I was given the audiobook for free and the author sounds like a great guy. However I didn't enjoy it all that much and I'll always give honest reviews.
I found the format of the audiobook a bit jarring. It's all about people communicating with each other and every voice is preceded by a letter to say who is talking. Like A: and G:. For all I know this may be normal in some audiobooks. I haven't heard this format before and I never quite got used to it. It doesn't help that the narrator doesn't distinguish the voices. All voices sound the same.
This is one story that I recommend rather be read than listened to. Even then I didn't find the story that interesting. There's no hook or reason to continue through the story. Other people may love it though. It has good Goodread reviews.
