About this listen

The Gibbons’ Battle for Cara is the fourth book in the Gibbons series. In a post-apocalyptic world, Pete and April have moved a long way since first coming together at Morro Bay in what was once known as California. Their adventures have led them on to Lake Shasta and eventually to a small lake in a valley in Oregon. They have raised seven children and combined with Colby and his three remaining adult children, they have become a quiet, peaceful village. While hunting, two of the young men come across a young girl named Cara who is fleeing her village. Hurt and scared, she is taken to the Gibbons’ village where she is treated. Her story tells of being chased by her uncle who Cara fears will kill her if he catches her. In protecting Cara, the Gibbons are about to meet another group of people they never knew existed. Will the manipulation of Cara’s uncle make the two groups enemies, or will Pete find a way to smooth things over to bring them together in peace and cooperation? The Gibbons’ Battle for Cara is about to begin… Adventure Post-Apocalyptic Science Fiction Village
