About this listen
The Industrialist
Henrik Vanger, head of the dynastic Vanger Corporation, is tormented by the loss of a child decades earlier and convinced that a member of his family has committed murder.
The Journalist
Mikael Blomkvist delves deep into the Vangers' history to uncover the truth. But someone else wants the past to remain a secret and will go to any lengths to keep it that way.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Lisbeth Salander, the delinquent and dangerous security specialist, assists in the investigation. A genius computer hacker, she tolerates no restrictions placed upon her by individuals, society, or the law.
Translated by Reg Keeland.

"An utterly fresh political and journalistic thriller that is also intimate and moral. In spite of its dark unearthings Stieg Larsson has written a feast of a book, with central characters you will not forget." (Michael Ondaatje)
"A REALLY meaty Nordic thriller." ( Daily Mail)

Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Great "read"!
I had never read any Larsson's, and was intrigued by this reading. In the beginning, the fact that it's audible makes it hard to follow the various characters, but at an early point it becomes very clear.
I will be downloading the sequels. Good work!

Good but incomplete
I bought this audiobook because I like to read and listen at the same time. It was an unpleasant surprise when I realized the audiobook is a shortened version of the actual book, so I find it useless. Too bad.

GREAT MAIN CHARACTER WITH PLENTY OF SPINE
I HAVE HEARD SO MUCH ABOUT THIS BOOK BEFORE I PURCHASED IT THAT I HAD QUIET HIGH EXPECTATIONS. ON THE WHOLE THOSE EXPECTATIONS WERE MET. I LOVE HOW DISFUNCTIONAL AND GRITTY THE MAIN CHARACTER WAS. THE NAMES WERE A LITTLE HARD TO GET USED TO AND SOME WERE QUIET SIMILIAR WHICH SOMETIMES TOOK A WHILE TO REALISE WHICH CHARACTER WAS WHICH, BUT I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK.
