Publisher's summary

Some secrets will kill you. No one knows that better than Jada, Alex, Miranda, and Candace, who’ve previously lost one of their friends, Stephanie, following a heartbreaking betrayal. Now Stephanie’s boyfriend, Corey, is hitting the streets of Atlanta with a vengeance in an effort to get the haters that took his girlfriend’s life, all while trying to take back his title as the king of the hood.

Stephanie may be dead now, but the secrets lingering between the rest of the crew seem to just keep piling up and coming to the forefront. What happens once the farce becomes too difficult to keep up? Whose secrets will be exposed, who will find themselves forced to make a deadly decision, and who will be the one to change everyone else’s lives forever? Friendship isn’t supposed to be this hard, but the moment that first betrayal occurs, no one’s feelings are safe.

Great Listen

This was a great listen. There were a lot of twists and turns, but it kept my attention. Only thing, was that it left you hanging in regards to the men in their life and what became of the relationships.

the storyline

I love the reader and storyline. He hit it on the head about most friendships. Too many secrets and not enough honesty

So freaking good !

All the characters do have the same name from the first book ! Literally picks up from where 1 left off . All the twist and turns shocking surprises. I’m here for it all ! Made me think about past relationships with friends. The whole friend dynamic. Now I need a part 3 !

I love love love Jada

She seems like the more mature person out of all of them . This book was so good. Alex got on my nerves with the nickname to clay it was immature to me . I feel like she was the youngest one due to the way she acted .

Talk about Toxic Relationships

This story was a good read. There were so many twists and turns. Hard lessons were learned by some of the characters. Don’t look for happy endings.

Pretty good

It sucks how things played out but it was expected. It’s best for them to all split.

A really good read

I truly enjoyed this book I felt like I was one of their friends. It was so relatable I loved the jada character I really felt her. And candince as well because I lost a son when he was 2 months so that right there hit me hard when her baby passed. And the narrator did an amazing job👌🏾 I would definitely read or listen to another of this authors book. As long as this narrator narrates it😊 10 out of 10

I hate the ending

The story was overall good however the way it ended was like OK it’s done. Like I feel all good things gotta come to an end but they gotta let us know where everyone ended up versus just like all right they learnt what they learnt and that’s it. Idk but it was cool.
