As we join them today, things are going seriously awry for Isabella, the chatty hairdresser who runs Curlers Hairdressing Salon. Izzy has seen her sister Lisa find love and would like to find someone for herself. But she is paranoid about her weight and convinced that no one will like her unless she gets slimmer, so she seeks out a fitness expert, and in walks Greg—all muscles and charm. He's handsome, shaved all over (!), and attentive, and he seems to like our lovely heroine.
While Izzy focuses on getting fit with Greg, things seem to be going very wrong at the salon; items go missing, clients get messages cancelling appointments, and deliveries are misplaced. Why is this happening?
With her sisters firmly by her side, Isabella sets out to get to the truth behind the strange occurrences.
Along the way, the two men in her life fall under the spotlight. Could the trouble be caused by Andy, a handsome local plumber who keeps popping in to see how she's doing and has been asking her out on dates? Isabella hopes not. She had her heart set on the lovely plumber, but there are a couple of things that are worrying her about him. Or did she throw herself into the lions' den when she teamed up with Greg to try and get fit? Is he jealous that she is spending so much time with Andy?
Or is it someone else entirely? Perhaps someone who came into the salon?
