About this listen
The New American Standard Bible is one of the most accurate translations of the Scriptures, and the Gospel of Matthew is one of the most fundamental books in the New Testament scriptures. Let professional voice artist Dale McConachie, author of over 100 audiobooks, take you on a narrated journey through Matthew, where you will discover Jesus Christ demonstrated to be Israels long awaited Messiah. Dale’s goal in this recording was to make a simple but reverent audio copy of God's Word that you can take with you everywhere you go: while you commute, in the kitchen, or at the gym. You can easily access any chapter of Matthew at any time. It is the reader's prayer that many will, "Let the Word of Christ richly dwell" in them.

Story
The last book of the Bible portrays God’s total redemption. Heaven will come down to Earth, and the power of sin will finally be overcome. Revelation makes it clear that the material world will be restored completely, and God’s people will live in a new world based on love, justice, and peace. Believers will reign forever in perfect communion and fellowship with the Lord himself. Listen to John’s revelation, and receive a foretaste of the day when God will “wipe away all tears”.

Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Story
The 10 enlightening (and often humorous) lectures of Medieval Myths and Mysteries will show you how far from the “dark” times of legend these centuries were. Uncover the facts about the Knights Templar. Reveal the truth behind the tales of legendary creatures like the Questing Beast and the unicorn. Trace the events of the Black Death and the ways it altered the world in its wake, and much more. With Professor Armstrong, you will dig deep into the ways that later generations reshaped the narrative of the medieval years and perpetuated the myths.

The Book of Matthew is the first book of the New Testament and depicts the birth, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. The narrative tells how Jesus left his profession at a middle age and gathered an inner circle of disciples, commissioning them to teach throughout the world. It also describes Jesus' rejection from the tribal government and his execution under Roman jurisdiction. It is said to have the fullest and most systematic account of the life and teachings of Jesus.

More than any other Gospel, Matthew reflects Christianity’s Jewish roots. As the first book of the New Testament, it provides a fitting transition from the Old Testament. Revered as the “Church’s Gospel”, Matthew draws on Jewish Law while anticipating a Church “of all nations”. Now, Fr. Donald Senior, a leading expert on Matthew, helps you discover anew the evangelist’s profound themes and literary features.

The NASB 2020 is an update of the NASB 1995 that further improves accuracy where possible, modernizes language, and improves understandability. These refinements maintain faithful accuracy to the original texts and provide a clear understanding of God’s Word to those who prefer more modern English standards. The long-established translation standard for the NASB remains the same as it always has been, that is to accurately translate the inspired Word of God from the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts into modern English that is clearly understandable today.

A must read!
I liked everything about this. The narrator was clear & precise, not too slow or too fast. His modulation was easy too listen to. I would highly recommend to everyone! I also like the length of this reading. It’s not one of sixty six books, but the stand alone version made it a lot easier for me to focus. I believe this book has the answers to all of our social, political, and personal problems, both present and future. I hope everyone gives reads it has the power to change one’s life & put one’s life back on the right path to a secure future.

Book of Matthew
I appreciate being able to hear the Word of God while I am out walking or biking. Refreshing to have the Word read out loud. It presents as the wonderful story that it is.
The narrator speaks a bit like a robot, a bit choppy.

Have you ever noticed that Jesus and the apostles never baptized babies or little kids? They only baptized individuals who were mature enough to understand the Gospel. This should be the practice today.

Wonderful!
Wonderful translation (NASB). Professional and pleasant narrator. A joy to listen to this Gospel of Matthew.
