About this listen

This book is about the Great Chapters in the Bible. It is the word of God. It is a 14-week journey through 14 Great Chapter Ones in the New Testament and is a great answer to "How to Study the Bible. “The Great Chapter Ones in the New Testament” is a Bible Study with Summation, Scripture, Matthew Henry Commentary, and Study Questions that can be answered from the Commentary. The Spirit of Man is the candle of the Lord and lit by the eternal word. Without Holiness, Judgment is reconciled to Sin and when that happens, you are in the suburbs of hell.

The word of God is divinely inspired by God and profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16) For this to happen, we must not only read the word and know of it, but we must APPLY it in our lives in 2025 and beyond. Some of the things you will learn from these 14 Chapter Ones in the New Testament include:

*Jesus is Savior, the Anointed One, and the MESSIAH.

* The call is, Repent, and believe, and live a life of repentance and a life of faith.

* The design of his doctrine was to conquer Satan and cure sick souls.

* He sends his word and heals.

* All the children of God are born again, and all that are adopted are regenerated.

* This new birth is owing to the word of God as the means, and the Spirit of God as the great and sole author.

* The Christian profession is obedience to the faith. The just shall live by faith.

* When truth is forsaken, errors multiply infinitely. And their foolish hearts were darkened. The foolishness and
practical wickedness of the heart cloud and darken the intellectual powers and faculties.

* A reprobate mind is a mind void of all sense and judgment to discern things that differ.

* When judgment is once reconciled to sin, the man is in the suburbs of hell. Our sins are much aggravated by our concurrence with and complacency in the sins of others.

* The fruits of righteousness are the evidence and effects of our sanctification.

* The glory of Christ ought to be the end of our life, the grace of Christ the principle of our life, the grace of
Christ is the principle of our life, and the word of Christ is the rule of it.

* The Mystery of Christ is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

* We must hold both faith and a good conscience.

* Those who put away a good conscience will soon make a shipwreck of faith.

* The primary design of the highest censure in the early church was to prevent further sin and
to reclaim the sinner.

* The word of God should be made our chief study, and what we hear and know of it we must take
practice
, otherwise, our religion will prove but a vain thing.

* The trial of faith works with patience. It will furnish us with all that is necessary for our Christian race
and warfare, and will enable us to persevere to the end, and then our work will be ended, and crowned with glory.

* We ought to pray for wisdom. If any lacks wisdom, let him ask God. There is one thing necessary to be observed
in our asking, namely, that we do it with a believing, steady mind. Let him ask in faith, nothing wavering.

* We only bear the cross for a while, but we shall wear the crown for eternity.

The answers to the Study Questions at the end of each Chapter are found in the Commentary. It is important
to answer each one in writing. And don't forget the book published right before this one: "The Great Chapter Ones in the Old Testament," which consistently points to the Savior.
