That ending hurt!
I’ve never been so blindsided by a book ending in the best way.

Ooh the twist!!
I really enjoyed this story! The narrator did a great job bringing this story to life. Excellent characters and immersive descriptions allow you to sink right in. This thriller has a spicy romantic subplot to heat your blood but the twists will chill you to the bone! I will definitely be looking for more from this author.

Perfect Title
The narration was good, though a little halting here and there, but the twists and unexpected turns in the story more than made up for any inconsistencies. I spent half the story trying to decide how I felt about the main character. At times, I wondered if it wasn’t just that the writing and narrative style isn’t my preference, but I was deceived. The author surprised me. The character surprised me. I finished the last chapter with a sly smile on my face. This is one of those books where not finishing it would’ve been a tragedy!

My heart!!
Oh my goodness! This book is incredible and I listened to the whole thing in 2 days because I just needed to know what would happen and I did NOT see this ending coming… at all! The story, characters, and writing are just amazing and the narration was FANTASTIC! You could tell he was fully connected to the story the entire time and really draws you in. Loved every second of it. Even if it made me cry!

Omg the plot twist!
First. Brandon does a stunning job narrating this book! Second, Jolene did an amazing job weaving trauma, humor, challenges, and one hell of a plot twist! This book was unlike anything I’d ever listened to in such a good and refreshing way. Highly recommend
