Dear Listener,

What am I most excited for listeners to discover in this project?
I’m most excited that TGSSNT can act as a remedy of sorts. When Stephen Curry and our team first discussed this project, we did so as a welcome departure from the predictable sports media content assembly line. I’ve spent more than 20 years broadcasting major events on national TV—from the biggest college football games to the NFL, from World Championship Boxing to horse racing’s Triple Crown. The recent trend of reducing sports coverage to an over-served heaping of stats and fantasy numbers, or as contrived debate, is unappealing to me. What stays with me has little to do with soulless numbers, graphics, or disposable controversy. Instead, it is always the spirit, energy, and truthful reveal of the people involved. I believe TGSSNT finds that vein.
Now, we’re delivering life journeys that overcame tough odds. We’re uncovering unspeakable injustices that sports played a healing role with. We’re unearthing the " how, why, and what could’ve been" on life’s fickle paths. These are stories connected to sports on some level. They’ll surely open your eyes and perhaps touch your heart. –Joe Tessitore, narrator of The Greatest Sports Stories Never Told

Excellent

My husband is a huge sports fan, but doesn't usually read for pleasure. I found this podcast when we were driving from Maine to Florida and we really enjoyed it.. We found all the stories captivating and the story-telling and narration were really excellent. I hope there will be more episodes to come.

Fantastic

Two thumbs up for the story telling and narration. The producers had an amazing way they weaved sports throughout each story as well as the "secondary" story that you have to listen to in order to find out. I highly recommend even if you are not a sports fan.
