About this listen

He is Britt Reid, the "daring young publisher" who "matches wits with the underworld" as The Green Hornet! The Hornet also has a secret weapon: Kato. As smart as he is loyal, Reid's faithful valet is a skilled martial artist and chemist. Together, they risk their lives battling against criminals and racketeers.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Green Hornet and Kato to be better than the print version?

Yes, I love the old time radio classics and with all the rich music, sounds, and indiviual voices it is a real treat for the imagination.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

While each episode is only a 30 minute program, it does keep you engaged, rooting for the Green Hornet & Kato to outwit the crooks, criminals, and killers, as well as the police and other authorities, this is superbly done. It is no wonder why this show lasted so long and is still a beloved piece of Americana!

Have you listened to any of the narrator’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

My first listen into the saga of the Green Hornet, it hooked me and now I love the show. You will too, I highly recommend this collection!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

He is Britt Reid, the "daring young publisher" who "matches wits with the underworld" as The Green Hornet!

Any additional comments?

Radio Spirits has a number of wonderful Green Hornet sets available, I highly recommend them all!!

A great set of stories! Brilliant!

Not the greatest writers in the world but they find a why to make you think that your in the middle of a comic book. Also a great listen to go to sleep by. Just corny enough to lull you away.

Another Good One
