Not My Cup Of Tea

This story felt somewhat inspired by V.C. Andrews books whom I have read and enjoyed a number of her series. This story repeated it self so many times I thought it was a stuck record at times. I think the writer was trying to build suspense with how over and over the one of the twin sisters Samantha kept feeling watched and her endless not interested in wanting to get back to the apartment in Texas and her not even wanting to go or her more or less control of her sister. I can understand some of since they grew up in the foster system watching out for each other. The story had promise and I think with some good editing and rewriting in areas it would have been a suspense full ghost mystery story.

 Virtual voice no thank you!

The story was ok, but the virtual voice narrator Lacks emotion, It can not do different voices for each character. It’s like listening to my teachers reading book reports in high school. Give our actors their jobs of narrating books, or I will definitely be canceling my audible subscription!

Ok story but endless repetitions.

Decent plot and story. Impressed with the Virtual voice narration. But, the author would repeat an idea or description of characters feelings over and over sometimes as many as five times. At times I shouted aloud” for Gods sake get on with it.” I did make it to the end maintaining my sanity by using the 30 second forward button many many times.

Use human narrators

I do not like narration with virtual voice. It lacks the feeling that a human narrator uses, can't change voices between characters like a human narrator can, and sometimes has annoying speech patterns.
The story itself was okay, although I looked up the author and it seems like many of her other books have an extremely similar storyline, except with different characters. I actually liked the story and characters more in the beginning. The dialogue seemed unnatural and many things were repeated in multiple sentences. Some of the transitions between chapters were awkward or didn't need a new chapter at that moment.
