About this listen
Persistence in the face of resistance
The crew are back again with Jamie leading them across the world to undertake a heist that will make them more money than any of the jobs before and slow down a crooked business. Once the job begins the crew finds out they aren't the only ones with a plan and will face a test of their nerves like never before as they discover that it isn’t just the dark shadows of the water they need to watch out for. Tammy and Jamie look to further their relationship whilst Leopard and Tiger reveal a little more of who they really are.
Reviews
★★★★★ Been waiting for this for a while and oh boy did it deliver.
★★★★★ I was hoping the crew would go for something a bit wild and it didn’t disappoint.
★★★★★ This isn’t like other heist books I’ve read, the moves are more calculating but I’m just as gripped by it, and the character development is brilliant, I feel like I know them.
★★★★★ A boring job and life leads to thoughts of criminal actions to make money. The characterisation is excellent and believable. Highly recommended.
Synopsis of the series
Jamie becomes disenchanted with his nine to five in book one and decides to retry his hand at a criminal career after having lost all the money from a bank robbery years before. He feels the world needs to be put back into balance and so assembles a crew of friends that are willing to join him in his new criminal enterprise. After finding a crew in London that may have more work for him Jamie decides to first try a bank robbery of his own in Los Angeles, his home. Making it out won't be easy but on the other side, there is the possibility of going to London and teaming up with a crew that has much bigger plans. Once it is clear that his crew is about to grow and with it the opportunities for greater heists than he ever planned the team begins to cross paths with the criminal elite. So far they have avoided the crosshairs of the most menacing, but they won’t be able to avoid them forever.
