Publisher's summary

A luxury stay in an Irish castle, a handsome, experienced tour guide, and a secret that has never been revealed.

Life as manager of the magnificent resort of Castle Dysert on Ireland’s wild Atlantic coast is never dull, and Conor O’Shea’s life to date has taught him to be prepared for the unexpected. Even he however, is not ready for the gang from Bubbles O’Leary’s bar in New York. A motley crew, from spinster sisters of a certain age, to exhausted social workers, they are all in Ireland for one reason. The fact that this bunch of unusual people arrive during Ireland’s biggest matchmaking festival just adds to the intrigue. But is everyone who they say they are? Are all their motives pure? Conor is ready to do his best to show the visitors his beloved Ireland, but his personal life takes a devastating turn and he finds himself torn, unsure how to proceed. Is the past best left there, or is there redemption to be found in opening old wounds?

Wise and witty, heart-warming and deeply satisfying, Jean Grainger takes us once more on an unforgettable trip to the Emerald Isle. The Homecoming of Bubbles O’Leary is the fourth book in The Tour Series.

Heartfelt

More emotional than the other books. Conor’s facade is broken and we learn more about his background.

A new “Tour” visits Ireland

It was fun to return to Ireland to visit Connor, his family and friends with a new quirky tour group. As with all the books in the tour series, there is a lot going on: romance, crime, illness… Siobhan Waring’s performance makes the characters come to life.

Lovely story

I love hearing bits and pieces of towns and villages and the way is the Irish lore. The kind with the donkey ears was a new one for me

ANOTHER FANTASTIC BOOK IN THIS SERIES (MAYBE THE BEST YET)!

I LOVED this book and hated saying goodbye to all the characters within its pages. It felt like saying goodbye to good friends. Even though Bubbles didn’t have a very big part in the story, I think I missed him just as much as his friends did. I found myself tearing up in a few places!

There are new, unexpected developments for the very handsome Conner (and for Ana). Not all of them are welcome. “HELLO DAD. WHERE have you been all my life?!”

Paudie, the village matchmaker, the Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, is hilarious! He professes to have a near perfect matchmaking record, but his idea of “perfect” doesn’t seem to match a lot of his clients’ idea of perfect, leading to some very funny interactions! The farmer in the bakery hitting on the two very shy sisters had my eyes watering from laughing so hard. That one wasn’t Paudie’s fault!

All I want to know is when will I win the lottery so I can to Ireland, stay in a lovely 5-star renovated castle hotel and meet my very own gorgeous Connor O’Shay???

I’m r-e-a-d-y and waiting for a bus tour adventure with all of my besties.

Ms. Grainger makes Ireland sound even MORE beautiful than I ever imagined it to be — and I have a pretty good imagination! She and the narrator, Ms. Waring, are a match made in HEAVEN by the way, make me want to pack my bags right now, hop on the next plane and see everything there is to see if that beautiful place!

Once there, I may just decide to STAY there…
