About this listen

Retired Special Forces officer Brad Taylor's thrilling new short story features Israeli operatives Aaron and Shoshana, as the two wed at Jerusalem's Western Wall amid a backdrop of turmoil and a new plot to attack the city's holiest site.

Taskforce operators Pike Logan and Jennifer Cahill are used to traveling all over the world for counterterrorist missions, but this time they're in the Old City of Jerusalem under happier circumstances. Their friends Aaron and Shoshana, former operatives with Israeli Mossad, are getting married, and they've chosen to tie the knot at the Western Wall of the Temple Mount. The holiest site in Judaism and the third holiest in Islam, the Temple Mount is a fault line between Jews and Muslims, the flash point for eons of strife - and it will still prove to be true today.

Unbeknownst to them, a cell of Palestinian terrorists has planned an attack against innocent tourists to incite the Arab world to demand that Israel retreat from the holy site. But the terrorists don't realize that they themselves are being played by an infiltrator with a subversive plot that will lead to the Arabs' loss of control of the Temple Mount. But even the infiltrator doesn't know the full scope of the terrorists' plans; they're preparing a strike much greater than he envisions - one that could split the fault line into total war. As Pike and Jennifer explore the Old City with their Israeli friends, neither the terrorists nor the infiltrator remember one immutable truth: In war, the enemy gets a vote.

The Best

I was so excited to locate a Task Force story I had not listened. When I say, "The Best", I am referring to all of Brad Taylor's work. Character development is second to none. The stories are so much fun especially when Shoshanna (sp?) is involved but love all the players. Do not know what to write other than I have purchased every title.

Keep them coming Mr Taylor!

Brad

Great short story!

This short story is a setup for Operator Down which is the 12th novel in the Pike Logan series and which will be released on January 9, 2018. Both are set in Israel where Pike and Jennifer Cahill have gone for the wedding of ex-Mossad operatives, and current operatives for hire, Aaron Bergman and Shoshana. Rich Orlow narrates this short story solo, but Henry Strozier will co-narrate the January release with Orlow.

Too short of a story!

Love the series and now my wife is also hooked. The wit and humor between Pike and the former Mossad agents had me in stitches. Can't wait for the next book!

Pike always entertains

If you have read any of the other books, then you know Pike Logan. He’s forever the effective, sweet, fierce knuckle dragger you know and love. You won’t be disappointed by this shorty. Too short for a credit, but buy it.

Infiltrator

I enjoyed the story line and detailed descriptions of places and cultures. The narrator seemed to drag out the story and lacked enthusiasm where more could be used.
Not to be overly critical, I did enjoy this audiobook, and would buy it again because it was shorter and good listening for an airplane trip of 6-8 hours.👍

Weak sauce money grab.

Very short, no detail and very generic story line. Don’t waste your money on this one. Brad Thor does way better usually.
