About this listen
The Island: A Beautiful Deception
This is a Sci-Fi tale of murder, mystery, and horror.
When Harrison Thomas accepts the position of Inspector in charge of the police force on the tropical island of San Lacruz, he leaves the United States for a new life. He also rejects the painful memories of a marriage that didn’t work and a world that seems increasingly cold and callous. Tropical paradise seems like a good place for a new start, and dealing with drunk tourists is much easier to handle than the daily tragedies he sees on the mainland.
San Lacruz most certainly seems to offer that second chance. Still, when two teenagers are found on the beach with all color gone from their bodies and no cause of death forthcoming, Thomas must find a way to navigate the darkness beneath the sun-soaked, colorful tropical paradise.
Is there a killer targeting the island’s youth, or is there something more sinister than even that?
