About this listen

Are we responsible for a woman weighing 1,200 pounds? Should a gorilla receive an award for saving a baby in its cage - or should we ask how that baby got there in the first place? A punk stands up on a roller coaster after being repeatedly being told not to and literally loses his head! Should we feel sorry for him? Jeff Wayne delights in tackling today's headlines, constantly amazed by their obvious celebration of idiocy.

For Adults Only: Explicit language. Must be 18 years of age to purchase.

Editorial reviews

Kentucky-born comic Jeff Wayne - known in the stand-up world as "Big Daddy" - has a refreshingly exasperated delivery throughout The Jeff Comedy Jam that tempers some of his more blunt and un-PC views on the world surrounding him. Having moved to Los Angeles in search for fame, his observations on some of the more contradictory elements of SoCal life are hilariously specific. He turns his ire towards a variety of topics from non-smoking sections to the stupidity of teenagers, but his genial demeanor makes his opinions and observations thoroughly humorous, whether or not you agree with him.

Critic reviews

"Ferociously funny." (Los Angeles Times)
"Al Bundy with a brain and a point to make. [Wayne's] humor is clever and satirical without being mean." (National Public Radio)
