About this listen

I'll murder three people. And you'll know it was me . . .

Summer 1997. When Will jokes about becoming a serial killer, his friends just laugh it off. But Adeline can't help but feel there's something darker lurking behind his words.

Winter 2015: Years later, Adeline returns to Blythe for a reunion of the old gang - except Will doesn't show up. Reminiscing about old times, they look up the details of his supposed murder spree. But the mood soon changes when they discover two recent deaths that match.

As the group attempts to track Will down, they realise that he is playing a sinister game that harks back to one they used to play as kids. Only this time there are lives at stake . . .

Great story but narration is better. Imogen Church is great!! The only annoying constant thing that drove me crazy was the "he said" "she said" "Steve said" "Adeline said". It really isn't necessary and does take away from the story. After the first few chapters you know who the characters are and you know the different voices (thanks to Imogen) we don't need to hear "he said" "she said". Other than that it was a great book.

Never saw that coming

Overall I enjoyed it, but at times the storyline moved a bit slow for my tastes. at times it was hard to stay engaged.

The narration with the English accent often would be very soft and difficult to understand.

Good, but a bit slow.

It's probably my fault, but I found this a bit tough to follow. I need to listen to the end again because I'm still not sure what happened.

Got a bit lost with the back and forth

The story was very engaging...but I didn't really enjoy the ending. I didn't like how the author resolved it. But it was still a worthwhile story. But the best part here is of course IMOGEN CHURCH!!!! She is an amazing narrator and brings any story to life.

Imogen Church is amazing
