About this listen

It is 1470, and the Wars of the Roses threaten to tear England apart. Overnight a man can find himself set against his brother or unable to trust the woman in his arms. For the beautiful and spirited ward of Warwick the Kingmaker, Margery, freedom is the only prize worth fighting for. Disgraced and banished to a nunnery after the philandering Edward IV seduced her, she is determined that no man will ever decide her fate again. Torn between her loyalty to her cause and a dangerous attraction to a man she should despise, Margery's mission becomes a race against time to outwit her enemies and her husband.©1998 Isolde Martyn (P)1999 Bolinda Publishing Fiction Historical Fiction

I didn't like it too much the main character Margery talks a little too much and some things she does is really over the top I wonder If people acts like that in the 15th century Edward is a more calmer understanding person the narrator i did like too much she read without emotions and didn't catch a breath I give 3 stars because the last few chapters were better than the whole book
