About this listen

Will Kip Landry live happily ever after with a sexy undercover cop or is he headed for an Italian prison? Who killed Brett Landry?

Kip was born into a prominent Spanish Point, South Carolina family. No one knows Atticus Landry has a gay son. As long as Kip obeys his father and the terms of his trust, he’s given an exemplary amount of money. If he misbehaves, the amount is reduced. Kip does what he’s told to do, but all he really wants is to gain affection and respect from his father. Kip wants to prove to his homophobic father that his sexuality has nothing to do with being worthy, reliable and loyal to the family.

When his older brother goes missing, Kip is sent to find him in Genoa, Italy. This is Kip’s chance to prove he’s worthy of the family name. He finds Brett, but his brother is dead. He’s been murdered. Kip discovers a book near the body, but it’s written in a strange language and holds unusual symbols. He’s convinced this book will help him to solve the murder, but because the police find him with the body, Kip becomes their number one suspect.

Leo Toscani is the undercover police officer who’s following Kip Landry. Leo crosses boundaries and develops feelings for Kip. Their relationship becomes heated, and they decide to work together, trying to solve the case, but neither is sure that the other is telling the truth. Is Leo sleeping with the killer? Is Kip Landry a sensitive and resilient young man or has he finally snapped, forced to commit a crime of rage fueled passion.

The answers are in the book.

A great twist for the story

The Landry Legacy by Joshua Erik Rossi Audio
Narration be virtual voice
4 stars overall .. An okay narrative with this one the vocals was a bit choppy with the dramas in play.
Kip finds his brother Brett, dead in the library only with a knife and a leather book.
His family are very rich lobster farmers, which Kip wanted nothing off his sister was next in line to inherit in case of his fathers death.
The story begins in Italy and then moves back to the south carolina, US as the mystery moves along.
Kip was the suspect and an undercover cop named Lenardo was on his tail. A quick connection for them both as they begin their romance. I loved the twist in this, I definitely didn't see it coming.
This was a very different book from the author with a mystery.
