I loved this book! I couldn't stop listening!

What did you like best about this story?

Extremely cute story! I could totally relate. Reminded me of the crazy characters that I use to meet back in my single days. Jules' bad dates were so funny. The doctor's office scene made me laugh hysterically! And I loved the romance between Jules and Chase. Such a romantic love story. I won't give the ending away by commenting further. (:

What about Ashley Monique Menard’s performance did you like?

I haven't listened to any other performances by Ashley Menard, but she was so good that I would totally buy any future books that I see her name on! She's so funny, and made me feel like I was spending a few hours with friends.

Any additional comments?

I only intended to listen to a few minutes each day, but it was so good that I ended up listening to the whole book in just a few hours! I hope there's a sequel on the way! Can't wait to see where these characters end up.

"A refreshingly funny romantic story to listen to!

Would you listen to The Last Bridesmaid again? Why?

Yes, absolutely! It's so easy to get swept away into this love story. Jules' dating experiences were super funny, and the story got better and better with every chapter.

What about Ashley Monique Menard’s performance did you like?

The narrator, Ashley, does an incredible job of acting out all of the characters in the book (male & female), and even does a bunch of accents! Listening to her bring these characters to life made my commute to work so much more enjoyable.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes! I listened to the book on my commute to work, and I had a hard time getting out of the car since I just wanted to keep listening longer to see what was going to happen next!

Any additional comments?

A real treat! I definitely recommend.

Ashley Monique Menard has a great range of voices!

Would you try another book from Pamela Carpenter and/or Ashley Monique Menard?

I would try another book narrated by Ashley, I will be honest and say that she is a friend of mine and also that I am EXTREMELY picky about narrators. I have been an audible listener for many many years and have returned books with poor narration. I am relieved to say that I find her narration wonderful! She started out a bit fast (or maybe they edited it that way?) but worked into a great paced rhythm with such a variety of voices that I was utterly convinced there were more actors reading this story! I found her entertaining and am excited to see what she future books she will narrate! I could see her doing some entertaining stories similar to the White Trash Zombie series or the Charley Davidson books by Darynda Jones.

Would you ever listen to anything by Pamela Carpenter again?

Not sure. This type of book is not typically what I choose. I tend to read / listen to apocalyptic, vampire, zombie, young adult dystopian type books and stay away from romance.

Was The Last Bridesmaid worth the listening time?

It certainly was.

Awesome Narration!

I would recommend this book to women in their 20s-40s. I loved the lady that read this book. Sounded like so many different people. So cool!
