About this listen

In the future, genetic engineering has introduced a completely new approach to human development from birth to 18 years. A single injection in the first days of life is enough to activate a program of standardized maturation. The very next morning after the injection, the child wakes up as a two-year-old, possessing all the necessary knowledge and skills. They will live in this state for five years, until their second transition, which occurs on the night of their seventh birthday. From that moment, now being seven years old, they will await their adulthood and final transition into adulthood.

The main character of this dystopian story is seven-year-old Daniel. He has only two days left until he reaches adulthood...
