About this listen

In The Little Book of Breaking 80, the author, a struggling amateur golfer who finally discovered the true keys to breaking 80 after more than 30 years of trial and error, blows the cover off of the hopelessly doomed conventional approach to golf improvement that keeps most golfers stuck on the endless merry-go-round of frustration and failure. He provides a realistic blueprint for breaking 80 that any golfer of any level can easily apply and quickly see real and lasting scoring improvement.

This is not a book of swing techniques. There are plenty of other resources that teach you how to swing, chip, and putt. What this book does provide is a true framework for how to break 80 and consistently shoot scores in the 70s, based on sound principles that will work for any golfer of any level. Provided you faithfully follow and apply these principles, you will begin to improve surely and steadily, to the point where you will eventually gain the ability to break 80, not just as a one-time fluke, but over and over again as a reflection of your true newfound ability.

Good tips

Informative but highly redundant.

Too many paragraphs and sentences said over and over again as if they were rerecorded

Little Book With Big Value!

This is the wisest and most helpful golf book I’ve ever read or listened to. It’s very well written and narrated but what makes it truly exceptional is the author’s convincing argument that the best way to improve is by focusing on the part of the game that affects your score the most - the short game. Just by following his advice to spend more time on putting and pitching and less on the driving range I’m already seeing my scores come down!

wordy

Skip the first bit and it'll be better. Too long for no real reason.

Went from low 90’s to low 80’s with this information

The majority of my practice (now) goes to pitching, chipping and putting. I have been hitting in the upper 80’s about every 4 rounds or so, After learning this and adjusting my practice, I have carded an 85, 84 and an 83 (personal best) those rounds were in a row and I’m going out again today to see if I can improve on that.

spot on on how to break 80.

The author was great to listen to and his direction was simple. I'm already close to breaking 80 however after this listen, I have no doubt in 60 days or less I'm there.

So Obvious Yet Helpful

Like so many things in life, sometimes you have to hear them to realize that it makes sense and you probably already knew it. Really appreciated the simple straight forward mess of this book.
