Publisher's summary

For centuries Elves healed humans. Men, women, and children’s diseases and wounds would disappear after being touched by an Elven hand. Then came the fall of Mempacton and the ancient order of knights who protected the Elves. A ruthless Emperor seized control of the lands and ordered Elves to be hunted. For the Emperor and a select few of his henchmen had found out that drinking Elf blood reverses aging. Immortality could now be achieved by humans. It has been seventy years since the fall of Mempacton.

Talar Stoneking, the prince of Stondeom, rides south to Capa to swear fealty to the Emperor. For the Emperor plans to invade through his family’s land to attack the Elves and their Dwarven allies. If Talar does not swear fealty, his people will be subjugated to slavery. Swearing fealty violates the young prince’s religious beliefs. Talar must make his decision soon. In the wilderness a lonely Dwarf encounters an Elf while hunting. The fugitive Dwarf soon finds out that being around this Elf is dangerous. For the Elf is on a mission to protect his people from the Empire. One of the Emperor’s subjects, a poor young man from the slums, heads into the wilderness to make his fortune. He finds out that being in the wilderness can be dangerous as well.

In the Emperor’s keep, a young princess plots her escape. Her family died a decade ago fighting the Emperor’s legions. She yearns for freedom but is destined to be married off to one of the Emperor’s minions. She thinks all hope is lost, until a young prince from the north arrives. Step into the world of The Lost Paladin! It is a world of intrigue, brutality, beauty, loyalty, love, honor, and wickedness. It is a world filled with mythical creatures and sprawling kingdoms. It is a world that awaits you..
