Publisher's summary

Hollywood hair stylist Nevaeh Richards loves making those in the spotlight shine but prefers the anonymity of staying behind her stylist chair, where no one notices her. But when a photo of Nevaeh and Hollywood heartthrob Lamont Booker goes viral for all the wrong reasons, her quiet life becomes the number-one trending topic.

Lamont Booker's bold faith has gained him a platform, and the authenticity of his faith is well known . . . until the tabloids cause the world to question everything he claims to be. With his reputation on the line, he finds himself hearing out his agent's push for a fake relationship—something he never thought he'd consider in a million years.

With their careers at risk, Nevaeh and Lamont have to convince the world that their scripted romance is more than just an act. But when fake seems to turn into something real, can Nevaeh trust her heart in a world where nothing is ever as it seems?

Toni Shiloh dazzles in this irresistible red-carpet romance with spotlight-stealing laughter, faith, and a happily ever after.

A sweet wholesome page-turner for all ages!

This was my first time reading/listening to Toni Shiloh, and the book warmed my soul. The characters were well-developed and fun, the narrator was amazing, and the story line (while unlikely) felt authentic. Bravo! Can’t wait to read another Toni Shiloh book.

The Love Script by Toni Shiloh Narrated by Dioni Michelle Collins

This book has been on my TBR since it came out. It was on my “ 2023 reading list” and I never got to it. My schedule clearing this summer, I made it a point to move this book to a different category.
And I must say it was worth the wait.
The love script by Toni Shiloh is an entertaining story of a would be hairstylist and a Hollywood A-lister. Any story with a trope that ends in “to lovers“ is one I am sure to read, especially when it is written by an author I enjoy. The dynamic between Nivea and Lamont is heartwarming. There were several moments where Lamont definitely fulfilled the swoon worthy category. And miss Rosie – she is a doll. She reminded me of one of my favorite aunts.

Dioni Michelle Collins was the narrator that I had never heard before. She did wonderfully delivering the story. i’m just not sure I like the rhythm of her pacing. They were certain elements that were noticeable to me that might’ve gotten on my nerves a little, like the pausing in the middle of a sentence. It might be a normal thing, but I’ve never noticed it as much as I did in this story.

There is no question that Shiloh is not a phenomenal author. I saw her talent eight years ago when we collaborated on a project. She and I were just starting out. The Lord is definitely blessed her over the years.

Faith based novel

I’m all in on a good romance novel and a bonus that it was faith based. 💜

Wonderful Clean Romance

Toni Shiloh has a gift for contemporary clean romance and this one doesn’t disappoint! I just finished it and have a huge smile on my face. Love the characters and the plot, especially the Christian values she so bravely portrays. A delightful story!

This book kept me continually engaged.

I really enjoyed this book. it was godly, clean, interesting with just enough tension to make you want to continue reading but not so much tension as to make you miserable. I was disappointed when it was over. Great book.

Wonderful Story

I think Toni Shiloh is such a talented writer. She is able to make characters and storylines come alive. Love Script is a fun and thoughtful read. I've read or listened to several of her books and am so excited to see what comes next! I really enjoyed the narrator as well.

Funny & enjoyable!

Between what Shiloh wrote & Collins narration, the Love Script audiobook was both funny & enjoyable! Shiloh’s texts between the characters was entertaining & I especially enjoyed how Lamont & Nevaeh gained a deeper relationship with God & then each other. I was wondering how Shiloh was going to spin what started out as a lie. She did it remarkably well. Collins was outstanding with Tuck’s accent & I pray to God she’s narrating for his (Tuck) story.

Underwhelming

As I love the Christian traditions and outlook on life; this was so far fetched. I mean, I understand waiting until you’re married but they were so extra when it came to kissing. I mean, she made it seem as if they were going to HELL for that. Like in 2023, holding hands, lodging together and he’s an actor. Please let’s be real. This was a wasted credit and I will never read/listen or pay for anything from this author.
