About this listen
Under the oppressive rule of the Enchanters Bureau, Mackenzie "Mack" Rivera lives a quiet life as a starship mechanic. But when his friends are threatened, hidden magic bursts forth from Mack, marking him as an unsanctioned spellcaster and landing him in a bounty hunter's grip.
Betrayed and sold to the ruthless pirate Blacktusk, Mack's memory is wiped, and he is forced to adapt to a new identity. As he navigates treacherous space battles and uncovers the secrets of his powerful abilities, Mack fights to remember who he is and the love he holds dear.
Alongside loyal allies—including the enigmatic Andromeda Krios, the towering Himari Muto, and childhood friends Lhunduin and Torsha—Mack embarks on an epic journey of self-discovery and rebellion. As they face the brutal realities of their universe, they forge unbreakable bonds and muster the courage to stand against Blacktusk's marauding buccaneers.
Their struggle for freedom and justice will reshape their lives and the galaxy itself.
With heart-pounding action, profound character arcs, and a sweeping narrative, this swashbuckling sci-fi adventure by Erik Harlow is perfect for fans of Isaac Asimov, JRR Tolkien, and the Star Wars universe.

good writer but the narration was terrible.
good story a bit slow narration sucks mispronunciation in every second sentence words are pronounced out of context punctuation is ignored. statements are stated as a question or questions as a statement when they should be the opposite. sometimes pronunciation is correct and wrong in the same sentence very distracting. virtual voice has a long long way to go. my advice for the author is to read your own work or have someone else do it.
