About this listen
Aging cowboy and bronco-buster Wes Hendricks just wants to be left alone on his poor ranch, even when town developers offer him big money to sell it. Wes's grandson reluctantly tries to convince him to give up his home, but that was before he, too, succumbs to the ranch's - and a young cowgirl's - wild beauty.

The man who rode midnight
This is a good description of what happens to everyone when he gets old. Wes is getting old and wants to keep his farm, ranch. His grandson is against him. His Son also. Wes is fighting everyone to keep his life the way it is. I thought this was a great book with a good meaning. I also thought it was sad when you look at it through Wes's eyes. The town is wanting the land to develop. They will do what ever they have to get it. You get to know the characters and develop an opinion on them by the end of the book. This is a movie in your mind style of book with several narrators. If my review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below. Thank you.
