The readers changed frequently and most were awful. A few were good, so I persevered as I am working through all of Gaskell’s books. I wasted a few dollars buying this title. Most of the readers sound like students who didn’t understand the words they were reading. I wouldn’t spend a credit on this. I wish I had just gotten the physical book and read it myself.
