Publisher's summary

What would the United States look like—what would it represent—if leadership suddenly put country before party, possibility before dogma, and created a vision of a better future and then executed against that vision? In this thought-provoking book, a new president takes the country to task—and reinvents government, healthcare, job creation, foreign relations, transportation infrastructure, and education, and with the help of her unlikely cabinet, shows the nation—and the world—what could be, rather than what is.

Thought provoking but hypocritical

The author passionately argues for people with opposing views to come together and not be triggered by those who approach problems differently. Yet in the same breath, he takes cheap shots at President Trump and Republicans while propping up the crypt keeper that is Joe Bidan. Hypocrite much?

Additionally, in the same breath, he states he believes in and follows science and then touts the dangers of climate change, aka global warming, aka global cooling, aka the biggest grift on the millions of useful idiots still willing to fall for it.

So, while the book has some interesting and thought provoking ideas to solve local and global issues, it is lost in his obvious political bent and undermines his credibility.

The Author’s Political Bias

I like the idea of Mike Rowe as a Cabinet member, other than that I am disappointed.
