A must read for children

I have to specify older children, that is. Ideally, we must shield children from these concerns as they must concentrate first on growing up and growing up good, if you know what I mean. Unfortunately, our world is not ideal, so the best we can do is teach them how to deal with these kinds of situations and interact with people who do not understand them. I commend the author and this book for giving us an overview of what best to do in a situation such as this and not discounting the real emotion of the child in the situation. I hope teachers and groups specializing in handling children with parents in prison make this book readily available for children and their parents, too.

Sweet little book

Good story but I'm left wondering what law the dad broke lol.
I think it can be helpful for children in this situation. It's written with confort and understanding.
