well read and superb book!!

very well done, the content of the book itself is invaluable regardless of your historic confession of faith. he is very objective in his views regarding the latins and the Greeks. comprehensive view of what led to the schism.

Don't Listen to Biased Reviews

There is one other review that appears to be biased against the author due to him being Catholic. Outside of that, the book is fantastic, written in a classic prose to be expected from the early part of the 20th century. Everything is quite simply laid out historically from the time of the apostles.

Not Interesting or Edifying

The Narrator does not pronounce words correctly and uses inflection at the wrong moments. It is quite irritating.

BEWARE This audiobook is not from an Orthodox author but one who is loyal to the heretical Pope of Rome. ie a Vatican II Roman Catholic. I wouldn't be surprised if he was a Jesuit which is a Satanic order currently occupying Rome. He uses condescending words when referring to the Orthodox Church and great Saints such as St. Photios. I made it through so now it's time to get my credit back.
