Gripping story and unexpected ending
Even though the story seemed to drag a bit at some points and Jess’ account of the events made her seem slightly dumb at times, the overall result is an easy to read (listen to) entertaining story. The voice actors did a magnificent job as well for the audiobook.

Kept me guessing till the end
I enjoy these type of mysteries and can I solve it. This was a fun novel with many twists till end. The build up was a bit long and felt like the ending was rushed. But at that point not a lot more to tell. I was invested in the characters and how their backstories impacted their role.

Very original
I loved this mistery book. It does not start from sonething that happened but the story spirals itself around characters, situations and motives.

Absolutely captivating
Lucy Foley is truly proving herself a master of the murder mystery genre. I blasted through this in a day and a half because I simply couldn't tear myself away. Fantastic story and narration, do yourself a favour and spend the credit.

Boring
Will be returning this as cannot finish. The narrator for the protagonist is monotone, does not engage my interest at all. Reads like one of those audiobooks aimed to get you to sleep. Story is basic and beige so far. French accents terrible.

Bored senseless
Don’t know if my rating counts for anything. I became so bored with this book. Do NOT what the big hooha is about. If I listened to this book while navigating traffic I might fall asleep and cause an accident. I didn’t enjoy the characters and the suspense (if I can call it that) was repetitive. Won’t be following Lucy Foley
