About this listen

Kurt Lederer’s study grant to observe Patas Monkeys in the Central African Republic has been approved. His grant also includes his friend Ted Simmons, an artist who will provide illustrations of the field study.

They drive to the Metropolitan Airport in Sacramento. There they board a private jet that will take them to Washington, D.C. where Kurt hopes to meet with National Science representatives and obtain the necessary items to make their field study successful.

A surprise awaits them as they are driven to Langley, Virginia where they meet Hector Guajalva, a CIA agent. After a transatlantic flight and one to Bangui, CAR they meet their contact for the trip.

The field study concludes unexpectantly.
