Finally Saying “No” Feels Okay
This audiobook really hit home for me. I’ve spent years saying yes when I didn’t want to, and this gave me the tools to change that. The exercises were super practical—stuff I could actually apply to awkward real-life moments. I liked that it didn’t make me feel guilty for wanting space or boundaries. The narrator’s voice made it feel calm and encouraging too. If you're done with burnout and want to start putting yourself first, this one’s worth your time.

Informative and helpful
I originally picked this up hoping to find something that could help my 20-something daughter navigate work and relationships without constantly overextending herself. Not only is it full of practical, empowering advice for setting boundaries, but I ended up learning a lot myself! Clear, thoughtful, and so worth the read,

Finally Said 'No' Without the Guilt
If you’re tired of feeling stuck in yes-mode, give this a shot. I’ve always put others first until this workbook flipped the script. The exercises aren’t just theory-they’re like having a coach walk you through real-life moments where you’d normally cave. I started small, practicing scripts for awkward conversations, and it actually worked. The journal prompts helped me spot patterns I didn’t even realize were draining me. Now, setting limits feels less like being rude and more like self-care.

I Didn’t Know I Needed This!
I always thought saying “yes” made me a good person, until I hit burnout. Working through this helped me realize how much I was sacrificing just to keep the peace. The exercises felt doable, not overwhelming, and I actually started setting limits without all the guilt. I didn’t expect to get emotional, but parts of it hit really close to home. If you’ve ever put yourself last out of habit, give this a shot. It’s made a real difference for me.

Enough is enough
Yes… I know I have a problem forgetting about my needs but always trying to please others. This workbook helped me see that clearly and showed me how to start putting myself first without feeling guilty. The exercises are simple but powerful—they made me think and act differently right away. I liked that it felt like a kind guide, not a lecture. It reminded me that setting boundaries doesn’t make me a bad person—it means I respect myself too.

Lessons for setting boundaries
This workbook is a great way to learn more about how to set boundaries and stop moving through life by always attempting to please people other than yourself. It's nicely set up where it was easy to understand and follow. It helped me think through some considerations that I hadn't thought about before. I really appreciated the section on how to not feel guilty when saying no. A great resource!
