About this listen

1958 The world of computers is on the technical cutting edge of the future or are they? Willis Thurman and his friends don’t think so. They have developed what they are pretty sure is a revolutionary modem and are eager to sell it to someone who will develop it and make them a lot of money. Willis doesn’t want that money at the cost of his friend Eric’s life, but it looks as though it might cost that.
When Willis and Jason, the other friend, find the prototype and the schematics have been stolen and by Eric’s new girlfriend, Willis’ problem is that he can’t ask Eric, his friend because someone has shot him. Was it his new girlfriend? Willis heads out to Weatherford, Texas to find Sonia Josephine Munster. He doesn’t find her, but he does find Sally Jo Moore who is the spitting image of Sonia Munster. She is the same but different. Is it a coincidence? He knows that coincidences do happen, but he can’t decide if this is coincidence or if she is lying to him.
Sally Jo Moore has come back to Weatherford to settle her great aunt’s estate. Suddenly she is catapulted into something out of her control. She and Willis are staying at the same motel in Weatherford, and he helps her out when some men try to break into her room. She’s not sure what to make of him or why someone would want to break into her room, but he is cute. She did notice that.
Can Willis and Sally find Sonia and the modem? Will they be able to figure out what is going on in the sleepy little town of Weatherford before anyone else gets killed? Can Willis convince Sally that he is interested in her and would like to know her better? Only time will tell.
