About this listen
Do you find yourself often plagued with worry, self-doubt and stress? Are you spending too much time thinking about the “what ifs” of your life?
You are not alone.
We live in a world where we are constantly reminded that our lives aren’t perfect, and so, we can’t help but feel like this is actually true. This overwhelmingly negative feeling can stunt our own ability to progress and get exactly what we want out of life.
When you next look in the mirror, stand firm and truly ask yourself “don’t I deserve more.” The truth is that what you wish to achieve is also relative to how you think. If you are always thinking in a negative way, then expect negative experiences, but if you think with a positive mindset, then expect positive experiences.
So is today the day to create the life you want?
A positive affirmation is a way for you to take ownership of your life, to put a stop to any negativity, and reap the rewards that come from attracting positivity. One simple positive affirmation can already start to make a substantial shift in your life.
This book, however, has hundreds of positive affirmations tailored for every area in your life.
Regardless of what life throws at you; as long as you get back up, stand tall, and give yourself a pep talk in the form of a positive affirmation, then you haven’t lost. And the more positive affirmations every day, the closer you are to reaching your goals.
This audiobook contains three different variations. The first variation is with no background music, the second variation has empowering mindfulness music in the background, and the last variation has a deep sleep-themed background music.

Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Story
The book of Enoch was thought to be lost for over 2,000 years until, in 1773, a traveller brought three copies back from Ethiopia. Whether or not this ancient book was actually authored by Enoch, the father of Methuselah and great-grandfather of Noah, is an ongoing debate among historians and theologians. But all recognise the book of Enoch as one of the most important apocalyptic works outside of the Bible.

Okay
If you are looking for a book with many positive affirmations repeated over and over then this audiobook is perfect. I thought the narrator Russell Newton does a great job of reading one after another of these affirmations. I was expecting more instruction on how to use positive affirmations to change your outlook. This book has three different variations of the same repeated affirmations. The first being just read. The second and third have music (spa, relaxation music) but the same affirmations read. If you want to fall asleep to this then the second or third would be perfect for this purpose.
I was gifted this audiobook with the understanding that I would leave an honest review.

Better Books Out There
I didn't care much for this book. I felt the author could have worded their approach to "rewiring" your brain better. Don't get me wrong, I am a believer in positive thinking and manifesting what you want out of life. If the author had said constant negative thinking rather than just negative thinking, for example, it would have made all the difference to me. A single negative thought or even a few of them are not going to doom you to a negative life, however constant negativity will. Also, there wasn't much variety in this book on affirmations to use. There's plenty of other books out there which are better on many levels that I just can't give the "story" anything more than two stars. However the narration by Russell Newton was well done. I enjoyed listening to him read more than I enjoyed what he was reading. I'd like to hear Mr. Newton read more books along this line but with better quality of material.

some good selfhelp
Not a fan of self but this one was good.
Generally self help books that i’ve noticed kind of give you obvious info. And don’t get me wrong some of that was here too but overall i did take some few good points away from it.

Not a book in the traditional sense but works 4 me
What you have is a recitation of affirmations in three different modes after an explanation of how positive affirmations work. The narrator's voice is pleasant if a little more educational textbook in flavor than lulling me into a meditative state. I comprehend that it's difficult to read a string of affirmations for over an hour and infuse them with any kind of positive emotion. The end result was that the two tracks with background music (the soothing sort you find in spas or on Brain.FM) worked for me, while the initial track with only his unaccompanied voice reading an endless string of affirmations did not. I took off a star for that.
The pros of having 1 hour 48 minutes of affirmations is each chapter is a perfect length to nod off into a sleep cycle listening to them with the sleep timer set to stop at the end of the lengthy chapter. The con is that I rarely stayed awake to consciously hear the end of the affirmations because of the length and the soporific effect. Bottom line, I got a 90 minute sleep cycle of positivity without the thing ending in mid cycle and waking me up, the downfall of many such efforts.
Cons are the inability to easily find a cluster of affirmations to focus on a particular topic while awake and seeking to focus on a given area while meditating. The affirmations appear to be loosely clumped by topic, but with the work and general positivity statements up front, I couldn't break at my desk and take a ten minute focus on just health or creativity for example. Thus I took off a second star for the inability to tailor the affirmations to my specific needs.
Bottom line - I find these excellent to drop off to sleep to and wake in a good frame of mind, but it's not something to run in the background in my car or be able to take a short break during the day in order to focus on a particular area of my life or spirit. I could bookmark parts, but that defeats the point of listening in a meditative state of mind. I'll definitely use it in hotel rooms on trips and at night, but it's not one I'll grab daily as I prefer to focus on specific areas of focus and this is more generic than my preferences. Your mileage may vary, as they say. "I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review."

Positive thinking with Affirmations
This is the second audiobook from Kiera Zinn and narrated by Russell Newton. I believe that daily affirmations work. Played this book while preparing to sleep. Positive and soothing. Good subliminal reinforcement. There is peaceful music in the background. Still looking for something to quite my mind to create a restful sleep. The narration was good. Affirmations were as promised. Fake it till you make it
Besides the positive affirmations that the book provides, the author also teaches how to craft your own. An insightful description of how we, human beings, are able to hurt ourselves through negative self-talk and what we can do to improve and thrive.
