About this listen

With any great change, there is always strife, and Covenant University has become the front line between pure-bloods who want the Breed Order reinstated and the half-bloods who want the right to control their own destinies.

The violence is escalating, and war between the races seems inevitable. Hyperion may be out of commission, but Josie and Seth know that they have only earned a reprieve. Seth must get Josie fully prepared, which means controlling her newfound abilities, and they need to find the other demigods before the Titans do. But the gods are sensing a greater threat....

Only one thing is more dangerous than a bunch of starved Titans, and that's an out-of-control Apollyon. The aether in Josie is drawing Seth in deeper, and when lust mixes with love and gives way to power, he knows that being close to her is dangerous not only to her but to everyone around them.

Originally was kind of taken back by the male narrator in the first book. This one changed my mind. Story was great, performance was great!

Love JLA stories!

Amazing! This book is so addicting and good. The narrators are the best. I love Paul Boehmer voice for Seth. Justine Eyre is always a amazing. The world and characters I've so much. It is so hard to stop listening. I feel for Seth he tries so hard but stuff keeps happening. I love seeing him and Josie together. and seeing Alex and Aidan back is great. Always nonstop action in these books and I love the steam.

Fantastic series and narrators!

Good but have transitioned the story in too many sex scenes and less story line.

INCREDIBLE

I know these are “old books” written in 2015/2016, but I am just getting started with this series and the all of the author’s works. I really like her, but…I liked this book in the series, but barely. It was long and drawn out and not enthusiastic until the last 50 minutes or so. The narrators weren’t as good this time either. I have to agree with some of the other comments, Justine Eyre made it difficult to distinguish between Josie and Alex. It got a little confusing. I will continue the series, but I hope it’s better.

Good, but not as good as Book 1

Second time with this series but this time listening audio and it is just as good, however........both narrators do a pretty good job but the lady narrator is just so so. When she does the men's voices you can't tell them apart so unless she says who is saying what you couldn't tell. That's a little frustrating but the man narrator is great! And man oh man.....that Seth is freakin hot!!! There is definitely a lot of sex between him and Josie but that is fine by me! Lol. Josie is training and getting stronger with her powers coming more powerful so needless to say, the story is really starting to kick off. Also a lot of cussing and as well as this series has no love triangle!!!! To be honest I didn't read the previous series about Alex and Aidan because Jennifer wrote in a love triangle and I hate them with a passion. One more thing....I got sooooo tired of Josie putting herself down and comparing herself to all the gorgeous women around her! Ugh! It was beyond frustrating and it even continues in book 3. Her hips are too round, her thighs are too big, she's not pretty, her hair not right...it goes on and on. I'm beginning to also wonder what Seth sees in her the way she makes herself out to be some giant forest she-woman.

Love this series!

This is an amazing build up and I’m really enjoying Seth’s redemption arc. He has always been an amazing character

I love this series. I always thought Seth deserved his own story. I just hope the next book comes out soon.

Loved It!

First book in the series had a lot of emotion and talked about her feelings and his not enough story for me other people might like that so remember for me it seems as if there should be story around all those feelings
Second book started off with the emotion and reminders of the first book however there was more action more storytelling and the main character Seth well one of the main characters has a quirky way of talking and actually quite humorous if you
Know how to interpret it so this one is better than the first so onto the third one and we’ll see what happens not quite where it should be mind you but it’s one of those books you can listen to while doing chores and not be afraid to miss anything but I do like the main character and his way of thinking is kinda humorous Also try and remember I’m not good at these reviews or writing. That’s why I read and not write it on an average it was a three due to the main characters thinking

Better
