We are not stuck

Listening to this book has been pretty interesting. Even though it says it’s about past lives, I experienced it as more of a meditation on one’s own life, and just looking at scenarios from multiple points of view and possibilities. Of course, you could make it all esoteric by calling it past lives or something else. But, even if someone wasn’t into this sort of thing, you could just say imagine if…. If people have more imaginative capacity and didn’t concern themselves so much with whether something is real or approvable, they can still get some benefits from the imagination, practice of seeing your world or your life through different possibilities. I looked at several impactful events in my life, and tried to imagine them working out differently and at the end I just came away with the idea that all the stuff that I’ve been through was perfect to get me to the point where I am Now. And even though in my current situation, I’m really not even sure what I am doing with my life, it still feels kind of perfect when I just look at the present moment and don’t get caught up in what happened in the past or what I am worried about happening in the future. The present moment is where everything happens anyway.

Not what I was looking for

I must have misunderstood what the book was about I have no argument with the premise but was quickly bored I have no interest in meditating to learn past life lessons
