My Favorite Story

Okay, full disclosure: I am the author of this story, so I suppose that makes me more than a little bit biased. But of all the things I have ever written, this is definitely my favorite. My own daughter was twelve years old when I wrote the story and her own mother had suffered a heart attack only a few years before. Although my wife made a full recovery, the scare forced me to imagine what might have been like had we not been so lucky. This story was the end result.
